Abstract: Approval of revised compliance staffing benchmarks for the South Carolina (SC) State plan, Region IV. This notice will correct the duplicated sections in 1952.102, (Level of Federal Enforcement) and 1952.101 (Where the plan may be inspected) by redesignating 1952.100, 1952.101, 1952.102, 1952.103, 1952.104, 1952.105 and 1952.106 under Subpart C as 1952.90, 1952.91, 1952.92, 1952.93, 1952.94, 1952.95 and 1952.96, and by making minor editorial modifications to reflect these redesignations. The effective date is March 14, 1986.
Abstract: Approval of the Oregon (OR) State plan supplements, Region X, including a revised Oregon field compliance manual, an industrial hygiene technical manual, an inspection scheduling system, amendments to administrative regulations, and State-initiated changes associated with administrative reorganization, compliance procedures and agreements with other agencies. Amends the operational status agreement which reflects a change in the level of Federal enforcement in the State. The effective date is July 29, 1986.
Abstract: Approval of Indiana (IN) State plan, Region V, which amends Subpart Z of Part 1952. Federal OSHA standards and enforcement authority no longer apply to occupational safety and health issues covered by the State plan and authority for concurrent Federal jurisdiciton is relinquished. Federal enforcement jurisdiction is retained over maritime employment in the private sector and private-sector hazardous waste disposal facilities designated as Superfund sites. Federal jurisdiction remains in effect with respect to Federal government employers and employees.

Abstract: Notice of proposed revision of compliance staffing benchmarks applicable to the Nevada (NV) State Plan, Region IX, which were originally established in April 1980. Proposed revision of the safety benchmark contemplates biennial general schedule inspection of all private sector manufacturing establishments with greater than 10 employees in Standard Industrial Classifications whose State-specific Lost Workday Case Injury Rate is higher than the overall State private sector rate.
