ACTION: Final Rule.

SUMMARY: This final rule revokes 153 of the 194 provisions of the General-Industry Standards (19 CFR Part 1910) which were proposed for revocation on May 28, 1982 (47 FR 23477).

proposed rulemaking to revise part 1910, Subpart F-Powered
Platforms, manlifts, and Vehicle-Mounted Work Platforms by revising
1910.66, Powered Platforms for Exterior Building Maintenance. The
proposal would permit and regulate the use of alternative
stabilization systems involving intermittent and button guide
stabilization. The proposal would include requirements for employee
training and personal fall protection.
