Employee dies after lifting box of papers

At 9:00 a.m. on October 23, 2024, Employee #1 was working in a climate-controlled office when she lifted a box full of papers to be shredded. While carrying the box, it shifted in her arms, and she felt a pull in her back. The employee continued to work but later experienced complications from the back injury. She was hospitalized and later died.
