Employee suffers heart attack and dies at walnut farm

At 7:28 a.m. on May 3, 2024, an employee supervising irrigation line maintenance at a walnut tree farm collapsed, apparently due to a heart attack. Coworkers performed CPR until emergency responders from Oak Valley Ambulance Unit 71 arrived and pronounced the employee dead at the scene. The employee's death was attributed to a personal medical condition.
