Employee suffers avulsion to tip of thumb from jammed saw

At 10:55 a.m. on November 23, 2021, Employee #1 was cutting a piece of wood when a scrap fell into the saw and caused a jam. The employee attempted to remove the jam when he was injured by the sawblade and suffered an avulsion to the tip of his thumb. He received first aid at the emergency room and was treated without hospitalization.
