Investigation Summary
At 2:00 p.m. on October 13, 2020, an employee was asked to load his trailer with a combination of Toyota vehicles then haul them to Reno, Fallon, and Carson, Nevada. The injured employee fell from a ladder and hit a cut out I-beam embedded near the fence and suffered multiple serious injuries. The height of the fall was approximately 8 feet. The employee sustained a head injury with at least 6 staples, fractured his spine and lungs, and broke his clavicle. He was treated at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, where he was hospitalized for over 3 days.
