Investigation Summary
At 10:39 a.m. on April 28, 2020, an employee noticed that a can of liquid cement was smoldering. The employee went to get a fire extinguisher. Before using the fire extinguisher, the employee kicked the can, causing the cement to splash onto the lower part of his body, which then caught fire. A coworker witnessed the incident and ran over. The coworker grabbed the extinguisher and put out the fire. The employee was hospitalized.
