Investigation Summary
At 9:15 a.m. on November 25, 2019, an employee was working as a drywall installer for a drywall and insulation contractor. He was part of a project of new work on or an addition to a commercial building, a warehouse at a manufacturing plant. He was installing interior walls and ceilings and so forth. He was finishing drywall while standing on a 4-foot (1.2-meter) mobile scaffold. He misjudged his position and stepped off the planking. He fell to the ground. He suffered a collapsed lung, fractured ribs, and a fractured wrist. He was hospitalized.
