Investigation Summary
At 2:30 p.m. on April 5, 2018, an employee was working in the passenger side of a truck and was holding his breath while repairing the temperature control unit. The employee suffered chest strain and had difficulty breathing from a partially collapsed lung. The employee went to the Inland Empire Occupational Clinic on April 6, 2018, and was admitted to a medical center for continued difficulty with breathing. The employee was released two days later.
