Employee is setting equipment up to be towed and fractures l

At 10:30 a.m. on June 9, 2017, an employee was operating a Caterpillar Tug Model NDC100 and was hitching a tug to the base tool that carried a large 2.5 to 3 ton mandrel. The employee was going to transport the mandrel for milling and had backed up the tug to be able to hitch the tug to the base tool. Specifics to the accident were unclear. However, the employee was hospitalized with a fractured lower leg.
