This Notice recognizes ETL Laboratories, Inc. as a Nationally
Recognized Testing Laboratory. The notice lists the equipment and/or
materials covered by the recognition as well as the addresses of the
laboratories which are covered. A list of categories and standards
is available in OCIS Nat. Recog. Testing Labs File.

Notice announces the Agency''s correction of the final decision on the ETL Testing Laboratories, Inc. application for expansion of its recognition as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).

Announces the application of Dash, Straus and Goodhue, Inc. for expansion of its recognition as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), to include the following test standards: UL 1244 - Electrical and Electronic Measuring and Testing Equipment; ANSI/UL 1262 - Laboratory Equipment. The Assistant Secretary has made a preliminary finding that the equipment and expertise required to certify products using the standards are within the capabilities of the laboratory and that the proposed additional test standards can be added to DS&G''s recognition.

This notice announces the Agency''s final decision on the MET Electrical Testing Company, Inc. application for expansion of its recognition as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) under 29 CFR 1910.7. Recognition is expanded to include two additional test standards (product categories): ANSI/UL #913-Instrinsically Safe Apparatus and Associated Apparatus for Use in Class I, II, and III, Division 1, Hazardous Locations, and ANSI/UL #1261-Laboratory Equipment. Notice is hereby given that the Communication Certification Laboratory (CCL) has made application for recognition as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. CCL is located at 1940 West Alexander St. , Salt Lake City, Utah 84119, and requests recognition for testing and certification of products tested for compliance with the following test standards: ANSI/UL 478-Information Processing and Business Equipment; ANSI/UL 1012-Power Supplies; UL 1459-Telephone Equipment; UL 1950- Information Technology Equipment Including Electrical Business Equipment.

ETL Testing Laboratories, Inc., previously approved (54 FR 37845, 9/ 13/89) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, submitted an application for expansion of its current recognition for equipment or materials as listed in the notice. The concerned laboratories are ETL Testing Laboratories in Cortland, NY; Norcross, GA; and South San Francisco, CA.

OSHA announces its final decision to expand the current Recognition of ETL Testing Laboratories, Inc. (ETL) as a Nationally recognized Testing Laboratory. The concerned laboratories are located in Cortland, New York; Norcross, Georgia; and South San Francisco, California. The recognition is expanded to include 29 additional test standards for the testing and certification of equipment or materials included within the scope of the standards. Test standards are listed in the Notice, along with conditions which ETL must meet.
