On 3/6/89, at 54 FR 9294, OSHA published a final rule for hazardous waste operations and emergency response, 29 CFR 1910.120, in the Federal Register. On 4/13/90 (55 FR 14072) OSHA published a corrections document for that final rule which contained corrections to the preamble and regulatory text of the final rule. This document makes additional corrections to paragraph (a)(3), the definition of "uncontrolled hazardous waste site" and to paragraph (e)(9), certificate of equivalent training. The Corrections have been made to the OCIS OSHA Standards database.

Abstract:
Interim Final Rule. Amends the standards in Subpart H of 1910 by
adding a new 1910.120 containing employee protection requirements
for workers engaged in hazardous waste operations including
hazardous substance incidents. Interim final rule is effective
December 19, 1986. Various start-up dates have been established in
paragraph (p) of the standard. The incorporation by reference of
certain publications listed in the regulations is approved by the
Director of the Federal Register as of December 19, 1986.

Abstract:
Corrections to interim final rule on Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response issued on December 19, 1986 (51 FR 45654).
Sixty-six corrections and clarifications are made in both the
regulatory text and the preamble. The effective date of these
corrections is May 4, 1987.
