29 CFR 1904.39(a)(1): Within eight (8) hours after the death of any employee as a result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the fatality to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S. Department of Labor. a) On July 30, 2024, the employer became aware of an employee death that occurred on a jobsite near Salmon, ID. Once the employer became aware that a fatality was work-related and not natural causes, the employer did not notify OSHA.
