Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7):Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service, and shall not be placed in service if the examination shows any condition adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. Such examination shall be made at least daily. On or about June 16, 2021, and at times prior thereto, five employees were operating powered industrial trucks without examining the trucks before placing them into service, exposing the employees to hazards such as, but not limited to being struck-by moving trucks.
