29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: A.) Microtech Knives, Inc., 300 Chestnut Street Ext., Bradford, PA 16701, on or about November 25, 2019 and times prior thereto: Employees are provided with portable fire extinguisher that are distributed throughout the facility. The employer was not performing a visual inspection of the fire extinguishers at least monthly. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
