29 CFR 1910.184(c)(14): Employers must not use slings without affixed and legible identification markings: Northeast, saw department, single shipping and receiving dock, Demag 10 Ton serial no. 95433 overhead bridge crane, type VI sling 8-foot nylon return/reverse eye: on or about June 21, 2017, employees were permitted to use a sling that did not have legible identification markings for regular load handling tasks, including hand-guiding steel bundles to a temporary staging location. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
