29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: A.) Microtech Knives, Inc., 300 Chestnut Street Ext., Bradford, PA 16701, east hallway outside the general managers office, on or about November 25, 2019 and times prior thereto: An Amerex B456 mutli-purpose dry chemical fire extinguisher (S/N: AR-474501) was on the floor, and was not mounted. B.) Microtech Knives, Inc., 300 Chestnut Street Ext., Bradford, PA 16701, tumbling area outside of the heat heating room, on or about December 12, 2019 and times prior thereto: An Amerex B456 mutli-purpose dry chemical fire extinguisher (S/N: AR-466876) was on the floor, and was not mounted. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
