29 CFR 1910.151(b): There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid: (a). Workplace located at 9406 N. Highway 33, Osborn, Missouri- On or about July 28, 2013, an employee was fatally injured by a bull that had stepped on him. The employer failed to ensure employee(s) onsite was trained and available at all work times to provide first aid treatment. THE SHATTO MILK COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1910.151(b) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 486799 CITATION 1 ITEM 1 ISSUED ON AUGUST 10, 2012 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 9406 N. HIGHWAY 33, OSBORN, MISSOURI. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
