29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, was not guarded: a) Kitchen at 175 Main St., Agawam, MA: On or about August 3, 2017, a Hobart grinding machine, serial number 1610369, was not guarded where the augur/grinding screw masticates the meat product. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1). Carando Gourmet Frozen Foods Corp was previously cited for a violation of this 1074977, citation number 1 , item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/2/2015 , with respect to a workplace located at 175 Main St., Agawam.
