ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be to equip the pipethreader with a constant pressure switch. 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by a running blade: b.Maintenance Area - The unused portion of the running blade of the Kalamazoo horizontal band saw was not guarded. ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement would be to equip the unused portion of the running blade with a guard.
