29 CFR 1926.1425(b): While the operator is not moving a suspended load, no employee must be within the fall zone. Location: 524 West 33rd St, New York, NY On or about 04/03/12 Employees were in the fall zone while crane was not preparing to hoist a load. Employee was struck by hook block when crane boom hoist line failed. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE INSPECTION CASE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29CFR 1903.19.
