29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(3): Post-exposure Evaluation and Follow-up. Following a report of an exposure incident, the employer shall make immediately available to the exposed employee a confidential medical evaluation and follow-up, including at least the following elements of (f)(3)(i) through (f)(3)(iv). a. On or about March 11, 2020, an employee was exposed to bloodborne pathogens while providing first-aid to an employee who suffered a pinky amputation. The exposed employee was not given a confidential medical evaluation and follow-up following the exposure incident. b. On or about March 11, 2020, employees were exposed to bloodborne pathogens during clean-up and disinfectant of a tri-clover valve following an amputation accident. The exposed employee was not given a confidential medical evaluation and follow-up following the exposure incident.
