29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: 391 St. Jude Industrial Park, Marston, Cast House: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions where the employees are not provided information and training on the hazardous substances in their work area. On and about 12/22/2021, employees who performed welding activities in Cast House were exposed to hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, welding hazardous substances and Aluminum compounds. The employees were not provided required information and training on the hazardous chemicals used in the welding activities and in their work area.
