29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: 8860 Pershall Road, Hazelwood: Employer is exposing employees to electrical hazards where the employees are permitted to use electrical equipment powered by flexible cord used as substitute for permanent wiring of a structure. On and about 08/19/2021, employees were exposed to electrical hazards where they used flexible cords as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. Instances of the violation are: i. wireless communications radio units in the Maintenance Shop ii. portable restroom on the dock on the Dock area.
