29 CFR 1910.29(b)(1): The top edge height of top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, were not 42 inches, plus or minus 3 inches, above the walking-working surface: (a) On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 9 feet while accessing the second level storage area in the northeast corner of the shop. The south edge was protected by a chain that ranged from 34 to 32 inches above the walking surface.
