29 CFR 1910.134(h)(3)(ii)(A): Respirator inspections did not include a check of respirator function, tightness of connections, and the condition of the various parts including, but not limited to, the facepiece, head straps, valves, connecting tube, and cartridges, canisters or filters: a: At 7301 74th Street North Pinellas Park, Florida; On or about March 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that respirators are inspected before use, in that, at the gel coat application area a 3M Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator with OV and a P95 the headband retainer was observed with the headband straps snaps deteriorated and unable to fasten to the elastomeric portion of the mask.
