29 CFR 1910.266(d)(7)(i): Hand signals or audible contact, such as, but not limited to, whistles, horns, or radios, were not utilized whenever noise, distance, restricted visibility, or other factors prevented clear understanding of normal voice communications between employees: a) On or about August 28, 2015; logging tracks JT Bradley 1/401 AC and 2/322 AC: The employer failed to ensure employees working a logging site were properly trained and provided adequate equipment such as whistles, horns or radios to employees conducting limbing work on site where the trees had been cut and placed on the ground by the cutter. As the employees conducting limbing task got within the canopies they may not be visible to the other employees conducting limbing or the skidder operator pulling trees out. Abatement Certification and Documentation are required
