29 CFR 1910.252(c)(1)(iv): The employer did not include the potentially hazardous materials employed in fluxes, coatings, coverings, and filler metals, all of which are potentially used in welding and cutting, in the program established to comply with Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) (sec. 1910.1200): 391 St. Jude Industrial Park, Marston, Cast House: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous conditions where hazardous compounds used in welding activities are not included in a required Hazard Communication Program. On and about 12/22/2021, employees were exposed to hazardous conditions where they performed welding activities using hazardous substances, such as, but not limited to, welding rods. The hazardous substances were not included in a Hazard Communication Program as required.
