29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2): The following items were not be inspected for defects at intervals as defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii) of this section or as specifically indicated, including observation during operation for any defects which might appear between regular inspections: On or about December 2, 2020, the employer failed to conduct frequent and regular inspections, at least annually, on the overhead gantry cranes and jib cranes, to include but not limited to, the de-ko 5 ton overhead crane. These cranes are used daily by employees as part of their normal job responsibilities. On or about December 2, 2020, the employer failed to conduct frequent and regular inspections, at least annually, on the overhead gantry cranes and jib cranes, to include but not limited to, the de-ko 12 ton overhead crane. These cranes are used daily by employees as part of their normal job responsibilities. On or about December 2, 2020, the employer failed to conduct frequent and regular inspections, at least annually, on the overhead gantry cranes and jib cranes, to include but not limited to, the Coffing 3 ton jib crane. These cranes are used daily by employees as part of their normal job responsibilities.
