29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(i)(A): Each employee shall be trained in, and familiar with, the safety-related work practices, safety procedures, and other safety requirements in this section that pertain to his or her job assignments: On or about November 12, 2023, employees of Transformer Power Services LLC were performing testing on an electrical transformer located at 15141 State Highway 177 in Jackson, Missouri. The employer did not create work practices, safety procedures and other requirements pertaining to the job assignments of employees. Employees at the jobsite were not appropriately trained in: a.) The configuration of the transformer system and components. b.) Transformer wiring diagrams. c.) Procedure for installing , using and disconnecting external power sources. d.) Training to safely use, position and place a ladder when accessing an upper surface.
