29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5)(i): Locks, tags, chains, wedges, key blocks, adapter pins, self-locking fasteners, or other hardware were not provided by the employer for isolating, securing or blocking of machines or equipment from energy sources. a). Production Lines - On or about and times prior to October 23, 2018, the employer did not provide isolating device equipment such as locks and tags to employees engaged in cleaning and sanitizing the production lines (e.g. conveyor belts and rollers), thus exposing employees to caught-in hazards.
