29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: At a residential worksite located at 2826 SE 8th St, Blue Springs, MO: Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. This was demonstrated when an employee was working inside an excavation with material stacked along the sides of the excavation. The employee was working without the use of a protective helmet inside the excavation while the owner was actively operating the excavator.
