29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i):Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not using electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed: (a) Job Site: 149 Devereux Drive, Latrobe, PA 15650, On or about May 29th the employer did not ensure that all employees that were working on live electrical parts on a AAON RN Series Commercial HVAC unit had adequate personal protective equipment to protect themselves. Employees were in the process of replacing a faulty compressor on the HVAC unit when one employee came in contact with live 480V wires from the Crank Case Heater. No arc flash personal protective equipment was in use by the employees performing the work.
