29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i): Vertical and inclined belts shall be enclosed by a guard conforming to standards in paragraphs (m) and (o) of this section. In the extruder department, no guards were provided over the 3/8" belts to the PTI line 25 Extruder, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck-by and caught-in the belts and pulleys.
