29 CFR 1926.1427(f)(1): Through an evaluation, the employer did not ensure that each operator is qualified by a demonstration per 1926.1427(f)(1)(i) and 1926.1427(f)(1)(ii): The employer is failing to protect employees from crushing and struck-by hazards associated with using a crawler boom crane to lift and suspend loads. The most recent occurrence was evident during the inspection conducted on November 13, 2019 at the jobsite located at 280th and 18th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601. The employer operates a crawler crane and has failed to conduct evaluations to ensure employees are qualified.
