Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to the employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards from a falling tree, tree limbs, tree bark, and other tree debris during manual tree felling: (a) Carver Fork Road Residence: Employees were manually felling an oak tree stub measuring 38 feet 7 inches. An employee not involved in the manual felling was sitting in the danger zone of the tree stub being cut, as determined on August 1, 2014. Abatement Certification Required for this Item
