29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Two employee(s) using mobile scaffolding were not trained by a competent person to recognize the hazards associated with it, exposing the employee(s) to a fall hazard of up to approximately fourteen (14) feet to the concrete floor below in that: (a) On or about June 15, 2022, one employee used mobile scaffolding to install tile to a fireplace and the scaffolding was found to have multiple hazards. (b) (b)On or about June 16, 2022, one employee used mobile scaffolding to grout the tile that was installed onto a fireplace and the scaffolding was found to have multiple hazards.
