29 CFR 1910.269(l)(5)(i):The employer did not ensure that each employee, to the extent that other safety-related conditions at the worksite permit, works in a position from which a slip or shock will not bring the employee's body into contact with exposed, un-insulated parts energized at a potential different from the employee's. a) 35 Willard St. Grafton, MA. Pole 15: On or about 08/20/2021, an employee was in the process of installing solid blades disconnects to tie two separte feeders tpgether. The employee positioned himself between the center and road side phase in order to install a cut out when a flash occured. The employer did not effectively ensure that the employee sufficiently recognized the need to position himself outside of the phases to minimize the arc flash potential. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
