29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Agriculture Reference: 1928.21(a)(5)) The employer is failing to protect employees from exposure to chemicals in the workplace. This was most recently documented on June 1, 2021, at 2609 190th St, Albion, Nebraska where employees who use motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and solvents as part of their work activities had not received HAZCOM training from the employer.
