29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by ingoing nip points. a) Distribution Center; Loading and Unloading Dock: On or about 11/23/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards, in that guards on the conveyor to protect the employee from the bearings and rollers were not of sufficient length to protect the employee from the ingoing nip point. The conveyors are used to make loading and unloading trucks more efficient.
