29 CFR 1910.132(b): Employee-owned equipment: Where employees provide their own protective equipment, the employer did not assure its adequacy, including proper maintenance, and sanitation of such equipment: a) Production Area, Bay 3: On February 13, 2020, the employer exposed employees to burn hazards in that the employer did not ensure the adequacy of an employee's protective equipment as they used personally-bought welding sleeves while operating a spot welding machine.
