29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Gang Rip Saw, Reman Department: On or about November 8, 2018 and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure developed and documented lockout tagout procedures were utilized while changing out the blades which exposed employees to amputations and other injuries associated with making contact with moving machinery components. b) Resaw, Custom Millwork Department: On or about November 8, 2018 and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure developed and documented lockout tagout procedures were utilized while changing out the blades which exposed employees to amputations and other injuries associated with making contact with moving machinery components.
