29 CFR 1928.57(a)(11): Where a moving machinery part presented a hazard during servicing or maintenance, the engine was not stopped, the power source was not disconnected, and all machine movement was not stopped before servicing or maintenance was performed, except where the Employer could establish the following in 1928.57(a)(11)(i-iii): a) 229 Farm Road, Pompton Plains, NJ. Employees were exposed to caught-in or between hazards as the employer had not ensured that employees who service and/or maintain machinery and equipment, including but not limited to the Hawe Tray Mover, disconnected the power source to the Tray Mover so that inadvertent starting of the Mover could not occur. Violation observed on or about 03/21/2018.
