29 CFR 1910.266(d)(1)(vii)(A): The employer did not provide, at no cost to the employee, and ensure that each employee wear eye protection meeting the requirements of subpart I of Part 1910 where there was potential for eye injury due to falling or flying objects: The employer is failing to protect employee from eye injuries related to falling for flying objects. Most recently, on or about 04/05/2016, at the end of County Road 4410 in Boss, MO 65440 (Logging Site), employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by falling trees or limbs while manually felling trees. The employer had not provided and ensured each employee wore eye protection. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
