29 CFR 1910.266(d)(1)(vi): The employer did not provide, at no cost to the employee, and/or assure that each employee who worked in an area where there was potential for head injury from falling or flying objects wore head protection meeting the requirements of subpart I of Part 1910: The employer is failing to ensure employees are provided head protection against struck-by hazards. Most recently, on or about 04/05/2016, at the end of County Road 4410 in Boss, MO 65440 (Logging Site), employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by falling trees or limbs while manually felling trees. The employer had not provided each employee with head protection. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
