29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so that all employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit required confined spaces) acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146: a. Production Area: On or about November 29, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to entrapment and caught-in hazards in that the employer allowed employees to enter confined spaces in four mixers and two pits without first providing training to employees to understand and have the knowledge/skills necessary for the safe performance of their duties inside confined spaces.
