29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) The employer is failing to provide training to employees on the hazards associated with using chemicals on a construction site. This was most recently documented on or about October 6, 2021 at a construction jobsite located at 1221 N 170th St., Omaha Nebraska, where the employer has inadequately trained employees pouring cementitious grout as part of the construction of a residential construction project.
