29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there are potential electrical hazards shall be provided with, and shall use, electrical protective equipment that is appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed. Clients' homes, hard-wired appliances: on or about August 16, 2021, installers and service technicians had their hands exposed to electric shock hazard likely to result in burns during voltage testing on or near energized electrical components operating above 50 volts because voltage-rated rubber insulating gloves with leather protectors were not provided. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
