29 CFR 1926.950(b)(2)(v): The employer did not ensure that each employee had the required training to recognize electrical hazards to which the employee may be exposed and the skills and techniques necessary to control or avoid these hazards. a) 1400 block of Double Churches Road: On February 20, 2022, the employer exposed employees to electrocution hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that each qualified person was effectively trained and had acquired competency to recognize electrical hazards to which the employee may be exposed and the skills and techniques necessary to control or avoid these hazards while employees were setting a pole near energized powerlines.
