29 CFR 1910.269(c)(2): The job briefing did not cover at least the following subjects: hazards associated with the job, work procedures involved, special precautions, energy-source controls, and personal protective equipment requirements: a) On January 28, 2021 at near 2043 Co Rd 453, Kinston Alabama also known as Perry Store Community: The employer failed to ensure supervision provided employees adequate information during the briefing to prevent potential hazards associated live line/barehand work on an open switch, on a power feed of 115kv, where they were connecting a temporary jumper. The briefing failed to inform employees of the special precautions and energy-source controls to use while connecting the temporary jumper lines in that they were dealing with a switch that was opened and could create a different load potential and a hazard of arc flash when phases were connected or severed
